SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Local Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions into the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering companies like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it is alarmed concerning the high quantity of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some significant quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully status sassa functional office focused on service the area on a regular basis. The assistance point created for intervention experiences a large influx of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for that Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra means to help the servicing of all customers and maximize usage of Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
